The mission of Metro Go Texan committee is to promote the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) through community events. These events are independently organized and have no official affiliation with the Livestock Show held during Rodeo season. Participation in this event does not qualify for, nor entitle participants to, any exhibitor scholarships. Accordingly, none of the rules, premiums, awards, or benefits associated with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo apply.
Cattle Entry Entry for 1 head of cattle in the appropriate breed/class - Registration to take place the day of the show
Showmanship Entry: ONE(1) Entry into your appropriate age level of showmanship
Pee Wee: Ages 7 & Under
Junior: Ages 8-14
Seniors: Ages 15-18
Old Timers: 19 & Up
Christmas Cheer Costume Contest: Showcase your Christmas creativity with imaginative Christmas-themed costumes, winning not only for the class victory but also for the Best Costume Award.
Age Groups:
- PeeWee 7 and under
- Junior 8 - 14
- Senior 15-18
- Old Timers 19 & up.
Includes:
- Chuckwagon Breakfast: ONE(1) breakfast taco per $2 purchase.
- 18' X 24" Sign with your Name or Business Name as donor.
